What we do

That part is not unusual. How we go about it is the reason this page exists.

What we choose not to know

Most television you pay for now comes with an account system attached, and the account system is usually there to learn things: what you watch, when, on which device, and what that says about you to an advertiser. We do not run adverts and have no use for that picture. To sell you a plan we need a way to message you and a payment. To keep the service working we need the technical basics any streaming server sees, such as which login is connected and from where, so that faults can be fixed and screen limits enforced. You are welcome to watch through a VPN. It is useful on public Wi-Fi and where an internet provider slows video at busy times, and the service works behind the common ones. It is a privacy tool, not a way around the law, and we do not present it as one.
