Installing and signing in
Install Smart IPTV and note the MAC
Find Smart IPTV in the Samsung or LG app store and add it to the television. Launch it one time and note the MAC address it displays. A photo on your own phone is perfectly fine for this; just keep it off social media and group chats, since the MAC is what the playlist is tied to.
Open the upload page on your own device
On your phone or laptop, type siptv.app/mylist into the address bar yourself rather than following a link from a forum or a video description. A lookalike upload page would receive your playlist link, and with it your login, so it is worth the few seconds of typing.
Send the playlist to the TV
Enter the MAC address exactly, including the colons, put your M3U link in the URL box, select Keep online, then press Send. Do this from your home connection, or with a VPN switched on if you happen to be using public Wi-Fi at the time.
Restart the app on the television
Close Smart IPTV completely and open it again. Channels and the programme guide load from the playlist you just sent. If nothing appears straight away, give it a minute and restart once more before troubleshooting.
Activate after the trial
After seven days the app asks for a one-time activation for that specific television, completed at siptv.app/activation. The fee is collected by the developer of the app, is entirely separate from your MYTIVIFLIX subscription, and is not something we take part in or can refund.
Keep a note of what you uploaded
Smart IPTV holds one playlist per MAC address. Jot down the date you uploaded and which link you used. If we ever issue you a new password, the old link stops working, and your note tells you straight away that this television needs a fresh upload.
Lock the app on a shared television
Samsung lets you lock individual apps from the settings cog on the Apps screen, and many LG models keep the same feature under Settings, General, Safety, Application Locks. A locked Smart IPTV asks for the TV PIN before opening, which stops a shared, rented or office television from putting your channels in front of everyone who picks up the remote.
Known problems and what fixes them
Upload went through, yet the television stays empty
Give it a minute, relaunch the app, and then compare the MAC you typed against the screen character by character, colons too. One wrong character sends the playlist to a television that does not exist, and the website will not warn you.
The app shows a playlist expired message
This concerns the app, not your subscription. A reinstall or television reset clears the stored list. Send the M3U link again against the same MAC address and restart.
Channels stop loading after a password change
Your M3U link contains your password, so a new password means a new link. Ask support for the updated M3U and upload it at siptv.app/mylist.
The list takes an age to load on an older TV
Smart IPTV reads the whole playlist each time it starts. Ask support for a playlist limited to the groups you actually watch; a shorter list loads noticeably faster.
The website says the MAC address is invalid
Read the MAC from inside Smart IPTV rather than from the network settings of the television, because the app shows the one it actually uses. A MAC only contains the digits 0 to 9 and the letters A to F, so anything that looks like a letter O is a zero.
Some channels play and others show an error
Smart IPTV relies on the decoders built into the television, so a handful of formats will not play. Try the HD or SD copy of that channel, or install IPTV Smarters on the same TV for a player with more playback options.
The guide times are wrong
Programme times follow the television clock. Set the date, time and time zone to update automatically in the TV settings, restart Smart IPTV, and the guide should line up with what is actually on air.
Keeping your login to yourself
The server address, username and password you have just typed in are your whole account, so treat them the way you would a banking password. Leave them out of screenshots, family group chats and forum posts, and if you send support a photo of the screen, cover the password field first. If you suspect your details have been shared around, ask support on WhatsApp to change the password on your line. Where you want your internet provider or a public network kept out of your viewing, the player works over the common VPN apps; connect to a nearby server before opening it.

What people ask about Smart IPTV (SIPTV) and MYTIVIFLIX
Smart IPTV or SS IPTV: what is the difference?
They are separate apps from different developers. Smart IPTV uses the MAC upload described above; SS IPTV lets you add a playlist link on the television itself. Both work with MYTIVIFLIX, so use whichever your TV store stocks.
Is it risky that my playlist goes through a website?
The link is sent to the developer service so the television can fetch it. Use the genuine site, typed in yourself, on a network you trust. If you ever suspect the link has leaked, ask support for a new password, which makes the old link useless.
What happens to the playlist if I sell the TV?
It stays paired with that MAC address until something replaces it. Before selling, ask support for a new password so the stored link stops working, then factory reset the television.
Do I pay MYTIVIFLIX for Smart IPTV activation?
No. The activation fee goes to the Smart IPTV developer and is separate from your plan. If you would rather not pay it, IPTV Smarters is free on the same televisions.
What does Keep online actually do?
It tells the service to fetch your playlist from its link each time the app starts, rather than keeping a fixed copy. Channel changes on our side then reach the television by themselves, without you uploading anything again.
Can I use the same M3U link on other devices too?
Yes. The link works in any compatible player, but every screen playing at the same moment counts toward your connection limit. Keep a note of which devices have the link, so you know where to update it if your password ever changes.
Does Smart IPTV keep a copy of my playlist link?
Its service has to store the link against your MAC so the television can retrieve it. If you stop using the app for good, ask support for a new password; any stored copy then points to credentials that no longer open anything.
